Hong Kong OFCA Issued Type Acceptance Criteria for E-UTRA User Equipment

In August 2025, the Office of Communications Authority (OFCA) in Hong Kong released TAC 014 Issue 1 – ‘Type Acceptance Criteria For Evolved Universal Terrestrial Radio Access(E-UTRA) User Equipment Operating In The 1880-1920 MHz Band’.

The E-UTRA user equipment operating in the 1880-1920 MHz band shall comply with the technical requirements specified in all relevant standards given in subclause (a) or (b) below:

(a) Standards published by the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI):

(i) ETSI EN 301 908-1

(ii) ETSI EN 301 908-13

(b) Standard published by the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) (excluding test items that are not covered in the ETSI standards in subclause (a) above):

3GPP TS 36.521-1
