DJID Publishes Product List for Mandatory Certification Requirement

The Direktorat Jenderal Infrastruktur Digital (DJID) of Indonesia recently issued "Decree No. 469 of 2025" ("Keputusan Menteri Komunikasi dan Digital Nomor 469 Tahun 2025"), which mandates that a comprehensive list of telecommunications tools and devices must meet the certification requirements. The decree will take effect on December 7, 2025.

The decree includes a list of products categorized by Harmonized System (HS) codes for administrative supervision. This list spans a wide range of technologies, from smartphones, laptops, and routers to smart home appliances like refrigerators, air conditioners, and rice cookers that incorporate telecommunication capabilities.

It is important to note that even if a specific device or product is not explicitly mentioned in the regulation, it is still required to comply with the certification requirements.
