Ghana NCA Launches Public Consultation on the 5925-6425 MHz Band Planning Proposal
On January 8, 2026, the National Communications Authority (NCA) in Ghana published the “Public Consultation on the Proposal for the Use of the L6 GHz Band for Wi-Fi 6 Services.”
According to the draft proposal, the NCA intends to authorize the use of the 5925–6425 MHz (L6 GHz) band for Wireless Access Systems / Radio Local Area Networks (WAS/RLAN). The technical and operating conditions that the Authority intends to adopt are shown as follows:
