Uzbekistan Postpones Mandatory Deadline for Hazardous Substances in Electronic Devices

Following up on the MRT IA news dated September 17, 2025, regarding Uzbekistan's Technical Regulation (Resolution No. 517, dated August 15, 2025), which restricts hazardous substances in electrical and radio electronic products.

According to Uzbekistan's new Decision No. 66, issued on February 17, 2026, the implementation period has been extended from six months to up to eighteen months. This amendment officially postpones the mandatory RoHS requirements in Uzbekistan until February 15, 2027.
