Thailand: NBTC Opens Public Consultation on Human Exposure Health Standards

In July 2026, the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) of Thailand launched a public consultation on the following two draft standards:

1.      NBTC TS 5001-256x – Limits and Methods of Measurement for Human Exposure to Electromagnetic Fields in the Frequency Range 8.3 kHz to 300 GHz

2.      Criteria and Measures for the Use of Radiocommunication Equipment Concerning Human Health Exposure

All interested parties are invited to submit their comments and suggestions to the NBTC by September 15, 2026.
