Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) has officially released RSS-102.SAR.MEAS Issue 2, introducing multiple updates and clarifications on the measurement methods and requirements for Time-Averaged Specific Absorption Rate (TAS) and Time-Averaged Absorbed Power Density (TA-APD). The updates apply to various wireless devices and application scenarios, including WLANs, WWANs, Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTNs), and Bluetooth devices, providing clearer guidance for product testing and compliance.

Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) has officially released RSS-102.IPD.MEAS Issue 2, the measurement procedure for assessing Incident Power Density (IPD) compliance under RSS-102. This document replaces RSS-102.IPD.MEAS Issue 1, dated December 15, 2023, and introduces several important updates expanding the scope and refining compliance methods.

ISED has released RSS-252, Issue 3 in draft form for public consultation. This standard defines the certification requirements for licence-exempt OBUs operating in the 5895–5925 MHz band using cellular vehicle-to-everything (C-V2X) technology for ITS applications.
