Vietnam MIC Issues Public Consultation on National Technical Regulations

On 19th July 2021, the RF regulatory of Vietnam - Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) issued two draft notices regarding the promulgation of new national technical regulations.
Some details as follow:
1.The draft notice of the "National Technical Specification for Electrical Safety Requirements for Telecommunications and Information Technology Network Access Terminal Equipment" is about the new national technical standard QCVN xxx:2021/BTTTT. The new standard will replace the existing QCVN22:2010/BTTTT standard, which is currently applicable to products such as DECT telephones and cordless telephone equipment. The new standard is expected to come into enforcement on 1st July 2022.
2.The draft notice of "National Technical Specifications for Non-Independent 5G User Equipment - Radio Access" is about the new national technical standard QCVN 129:2021/BTTTT. The new standard is expected to come into enforcement on 1st February 2022.
All parties concerned can submit comments and suggestions to MIC before 19th September 2021.
