Singapore CPS - Authority Name Change

On 1st June 2021, Enterprise Singapore announced that the current “Consumer Protection, Weights and Measures Division” will be renamed to the “Consumer Product Safety, Weights and Measures Office” (CPSO).
CPSO will oversee the safety of consumer products which are under the purview of the Consumer Protection (Safety Requirements) Regulations (CPSR), and the Consumer Protection (Consumer Goods Safety Requirements) Regulations (CGSR).
This name change has no impact on the registered Controlled Goods (CGs) and/or any ongoing registrations/ renewals. There is no change to the SAFETY Mark logo.
