Botswana: BOCRA Issues Type Approval Certificates without Expiration
On 21st September 2020, Botswana regulator BOCRA announced the cessation of renewal Type Approval Certificates. BOCRA will henceforth issue Type Approval Certificates with no expiry dates.
BOCRA clarified that companies which had obtained the Type Approval certificates before this should now apply to BOCRA for a new certificate with a permanent validity. Such applications should be submitted to BOCRA within 3 months prior to the expiration of the old certificate.
