EAEU Updates Requirements to Customs Declaration of Some Lighting Equipment

On April 24, 2019, the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) issues Decision No. 41. According to this document, the EAEU updated the list of products that, along with a customs declaration, must contain documents confirming compliance with the requirements of TR CU 004/2011 or TR CU 020/2011.

Items 14 and 16 were modified in the list of products that, along with a customs declaration, must contain documents confirming compliance with the requirements of TR CU 004/2011.

The 14th item now contains only lighting equipment (lamps) for garden ponds and aquariums.  As for the 16th item, the positions remain the same but EAEU HS codes were specified. The list still includes:

- Electric lamps (LED, fluorescent, incandescent)

- Lamps for general use

- Spotlights

- Lamps, recessed into the ground

- Light household garlands, including those for the Christmas tree
