Malaysia ST Updates Electrical Equipment Approval Guidelines
On June 21, 2024, the Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) in Malaysia published the 7th Edition of the Guidelines for the Approval of Electrical Equipment, introducing an updated list of regulated electrical equipment. This guideline replaces 'GP/ST/No.14/2017' and took effect immediately upon publication, with a transition period of one year.
