Pakistan PTA Successfully Concludes Assignment Stage of NGMS / 5G Spectrum Auction

On March 12th, 2026, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) announced that it has successfully concluded the Assignment Stage of the Next Generation Mobile Services (NGMS) / 5G Spectrum Auction. This marks another key milestone toward the rollout of 5G services in Pakistan.

With the completion of the assignment stage, operators will proceed with network planning and deployment, paving the way for the gradual commercial launch of 5G services across the country.
