Mongolia CRC Updates Certification Rules for Information and Communication Equipment

The Communications Regulatory Commission (CRC) of Mongolia has recently issued an updated Regulation for the Certification of Information and Communication Equipment.

The main changes are as follows:

1.     Instead of 3-year CoC renewals, CRC will now issue new certificates. The issue date will be updated, but the certificate number will stay the same.

2.     Previously submitted test reports may be resubmitted if the products have not undergone any design or technical changes.

3.     The issue date of the new certificate will be based on the approval date rather than the expiration date of the previous certificate.
