India's TEC Mandates Partial Testing Requirements for 5G Core Nodes
On April 16, 2026, the Telecommunication Engineering Centre (TEC) of India issued a notification mandating test reports from designated laboratories for 5G Core Nodes (AMF, AuSF, PCF, SMF, and UPF), effective July 1, 2026. For certain testing requirements that are not yet mandatory, a temporary exemption can be obtained through a Self-Declaration of Conformity (SDoC).
