KATS of Korea Seeks Public Opinion on Electric Scooter Battery Safety Standards
The Korean Agency for Technology and Standards (KATS) is currently collecting public feedback on the revision of safety standards for Electric Scooter (전동킥보드) until June 6, 2026. Under this revision, the batteries for Electric Scooter must meet mandatory over-current and over-discharge safety requirements.
