Argentina ENACOM Releases Resolution 57/2026 Introducing a New Homologation Framework

The Ente Nacional de Comunicaciones (ENACOM) in Argentina issued Resolution 57/2026 on February 24, 2026, establishing a new homologation framework and related procedures. The resolution introduces key changes in the following areas:

·  Introduction of third-party certification bodies

·  Establishment of product classification criteria

·  Revision of certificate validity and surveillance requirements

·  Inclusion of product family approval mechanisms

The new resolution will take effect on September 1, 2026. Meanwhile, certificates issued prior to the publication of the new resolution will be automatically extended, with a revised expiration date of February 26, 2029.
