Philippines NTC Proposes Adding 77-81 GHz Band for SRDs
Recently, the National Telecommunications Commission of the Philippines proposed amending NTC Memorandum Circular No. 03-05-2007 to include the 77-81 GHz band for short-range devices intended for movement detection and alert applications.
Under the draft amendment, the 77-81 GHz band would be permitted with a maximum power limit of 10 mW EIRP. A public hearing is scheduled for June 2, 2026.
