Ukraine Opens Wi-Fi 7
On May 6, 2026, the National Commission for the State Regulation of Electronic Communications, Radio Frequency Spectrum, and the Provision of Postal Services of Ukraine (NCEC) updated the country’s radio frequency regulations through Decision No. 212.
Key updates include:
- For Wi-Fi 2.4G/5G/6G, the new regulation allows the use of the IEEE 802.11be (Wi-Fi 7) standard.
- Channel bandwidths of up to 320 MHz are now allowed in 6 GHz.
