On October 14, 2024, Andorra Telecom announced plans to begin the gradual shutdown of its 3G network in October 2026. This transition aims to enhance the efficiency of 4G and 5G networks, providing customers with an improved overall experience. Please note that a shutdown date for the 2G network has not yet been set and will be addressed as part of a long-term strategy.

Recently the State Commission on Radio Frequencies in Azerbaijan has approved the use of the 5945-6425 MHz frequency band for Wireless Access Systems (WAS), including Radio Local Area Networks (RLAN). This decision follows the guidelines established by the Electronic Communications Committee Decision (20) 01 from the European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications Administrations (ECC Decision (20) 01), aligning Azerbaijan's radio frequency policies with international standards.

Additionally, the 5250-6700 MHz and 10-10.7 GHz bands have been updated to facilitate advancements in mobile and satellite communications.
