2025-08-13 India Simplifies Security Certification for EoS/EoL Telecom DevicesOn July 30, 2025, the National Centre for Communication Security (NCCS) of India simplified the security certification process for End-of-Sale (EoS) and End-of-Life (EoL) telecom devices. Manufacturers are no longer required to submit internal test reports for ITSAR compliance. Instead, they can apply for a provisional security certificate by declaring EoS/EoL dates and submitting a Supplier’s Declaration of Conformity (SDoC). The certificate will remain valid for five years or until the EoL date, whichever comes first. -
