Recently, the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority(TRA) of Oman launched the Self-Declaration of Conformity service as part of the Type Approval System, within its ongoing efforts to enhance the framework for approving telecommunications equipment and to adopt modern regulatory tools that contribute to faster procedures and improved efficiency of services provided to beneficiaries.

On February 10, 2026, the Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT) of Korea issued an amendment to the technical standards for wireless equipment (Notice No. 2026-10), specifically refining the regulations for 6 GHz Wireless Access Systems (Wi-Fi).

DJID of Indonesia recently issued an official letter on the testing requirements for Radio Local Area Network (RLAN) devices operating in the 6 GHz band. According to the letter, effective 15 January 2026, DJID will accept 6 GHz RLAN test reports for certification only if they are issued by authorized domestic telecommunications testing laboratories in Indonesia or by foreign laboratories located in countries with a Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA) with Indonesia.
