Recently the State Commission on Radio Frequencies in Azerbaijan has approved the use of the 5945-6425 MHz frequency band for Wireless Access Systems (WAS), including Radio Local Area Networks (RLAN). This decision follows the guidelines established by the Electronic Communications Committee Decision (20) 01 from the European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications Administrations (ECC Decision (20) 01), aligning Azerbaijan's radio frequency policies with international standards.

On September 1, 2024, the Communications and Information Technology Regulatory Authority (CITRA) of Kuwait issued Resolution No. 278/2024, announcing that 3G telecommunication network services will be discontinued starting June 1, 2025. CITRA also encourages the users to connect to one or more of the available mobile networks - 2G, 4G, or 5G, after June 1, 2025.

The Agencia Nacional de Telecomunicacoes (ANATEL) in Brazil has officially authorized the use of 802.11be designation, allowing devices with WiFi 7 technology to list this designation on their Certificate of Conformity.

Kazakhstan's Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation, and Aerospace Industry has announced significant updates to the country's radio frequency allocation, spanning from 3 kHz to 400 GHz. Noteworthy reallocations include the 2170-2520 MHz and 4800-5250 MHz bands, now designated for mobile, fixed, and satellite services. Additionally, the 5250-6700 MHz and 10-10.7 GHz bands have been updated to facilitate advancements in mobile and satellite communications.

The Ministry of Information and Communications of Vietnam has released a draft amendment to Circular No. 08/2021/TT-BTTTT, which regulates radio equipment exempt from licensing.

The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) has issued the Radiocommunications (Cordless Communications Devices) Class Licence 2024, effective from September 27, 2024. This licence authorizes cordless communication devices, such as land stations and DECT handsets, to operate in specific frequency bands, including 1.7175-1.7925 MHz, 30.0625-30.3125 MHz, 39.7625-40.25 MHz, and 1880-1900 MHz. Devices must comply with Australian and international standards, including the ARPANSA limits and the ETSI EN 301 406 standard for DECT technology.

On September 15, 2024, the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) issued a circular announcing the approval of the proposal to include the 5925-6425 MHz range of the 6GHz band, allowing Wi-Fi, IoT, and Wireless LAN to be used on a shared basis within cellular networks.

The Department of Telecommunications (TEC) has extended the acceptance of ILAC-accredited test reports from non-border sharing countries until December 31, 2024, under the MTCTE scheme.

Recently, the Telecommunications Regulation Commission (TRC) in Jordan issued a new regulation introducing updates to the type approval process. This regulation took effect on September 15th, 2024.
